Cancer, no matter how long or serious the battle, changes us. We encounter challenges we hoped we’d never face, we experience blessings we never imagined. Spend the day with cancer survivors, and thrivers, Terhea Furr and Tara Mulder as they invite you to process your cancer survivorship with candor, humor, and God’s tender mercies. Their own stories will have you rolling with laughter and drawing on strength from Scripture. The retreat day will include presentations, sharing in small groups, healthy and delicious food, and time to explore the grounds in quiet reflection. The retreat is a great experience for caregivers too. Join us for inspiration to greater hope and deeper faith, celebrating survivorship and the magnificent healing power of God. This is a women’s retreat. Guided by Terhea Furr and Tara Mulder.
Surviving cancer twice, Terhea Furr knows the healing power of God and the reward of trusting Jesus. She cherishes the opportunity to share stories of God’s constant presence despite times of disappointment and doubt. A spiritual coach and teacher, Terhea helps others to integrate scripture in speech, decision-making, and lived experience. She leads a women’s bible study, and serves on the Mercy Team, a group dedicated to caring for the needs of others, at Grace Community Church, Fulton, MD. Terhea is the owner of September 9 Media (www.september9.media), a communications, marketing, and video production company in Maryland.
