She will also share her approach to developing art without spiritual themes. This workshop is open to creative participants of all types: writers, artists, photographers, and musicians just to name a few. You’ll have time to reflect, plan, and hone your own approach to developing creative work in any discipline. Bring a journal and materials of your choice, except for acrylics or oils (unless for outdoor use). Laptops, tablets, and cameras are also welcome. The workshop starts at 9:30am, includes lunch, and concludes at 4:00pm.
Tara Mulder is a visual artist and storyteller whose passion is encouraging people with God’s Grace. Much of Tara’s art has biblical themes and flows from her 25+ years serving and teaching in Christian ministries. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Art Education, a master’s degree in Christian Outreach Leadership from Concordia University and recently became certified as a facilitator for cancer self-management workshops. Tara has been part of the Guest Services team at Bon Secours Retreat & Conference Center since 2019 and recently transitioned to her current Sales Manager role.
