Many white people who are committed to racial justice ask: How do we work through our personal barriers and create and carry out effective actions for change?

This half-day session is for white people who have a general understanding of whiteness and systemic racism and seek to deepen their anti-racist analysis and practice.

Participants will:

  • Engage in emergent dialogue about their own development and identity as white racial justice changemakers.
  • Deepen their ability to identify internalized white supremacy and challenge white complicity.
  • Explore common white progressive patterns, based on Dr. DiAngelo’s new book to be released in July: Nice Racism: How Progressive White People Perpetuate Racial Harm
  • Have an opportunity to directly engage with and ask questions of Dr. DiAngelo
